Paul Pogba next destination revealed as Man Utd make decision

Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba is reportedly set to join forces with David Beckham and Lionel Messi as he’s about to seal a transfer to Major League Soccer.

The 31-year-old had two spells at Old Trafford, both ending with free transfers to Juventus. On the first occasion, he was a mere teenager with major promise, but just couldn’t convince Sir Alex Ferguson to give him more first-team opportunities, so his late agent Mino Raiola secured him a transfer to Turin in the summer of 2012.

After establishing himself as a bona fide star in Italy, the Red Devils were eager to bring him back to Carrington, going as far as shattering the world record with a transfer fee of €105 million. However, Pogba’s six-year stint was largely unhappy, so he took his ball and went to Juventus once more in 2022 in the hopes of finding his smile again, but a series of recurring injuries followed by a doping ban wrecked his ‘homecoming’.

But while most observers agree Pogba’s golden days on the pitch are well behind him at this stage, he remains keen on pulling off a remarkable return following the expiry of his 18-month suspension. The Frenchman is now eligible to play again, and some have even urged Man Utd to sign him.

This was also fueled by reports claiming the fading star was set to train Ruben Amorim’s men at Carrington.

Nevertheless, the Red Devils made it clear they have no reason to recruit the troubled midfielder for a third time, so he had to look elsewhere in his search for a new club.

According to Fichajes (via Daily Sabah), Pogba is all set to seal a ‘sensational’ transfer to Inter Milan where he’ll get to play alongside former Barcelona legends Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and last but not least, Leo Messi, who had a big role in convincing the 2018 World Cup of joining the Florida-based franchise, as the source explains.

This will also give the returning star the opportunity to connect with a another former Man Utd star in the shape of Beckham who owns the MLS club.

The report adds that an official announcement is expected in the next few weeks.
