Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Peter Obi, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Monday, gathered in Abuja for a colloquium in honor of Emeka Ihedioha, the former Imo State Governor, as he celebrated his 60th birthday.
The event which took place at the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Abuja Continental Hotel, was chaired by Obasanjo.
Also, Bishop Matthew Kukah delivered the keynote address, setting the tone for discussions at the high-profile gathering.

Moreover, this gathering comes just days after Atiku, Ihedioha, and other opposition leaders, including a representative of Peter Obi, held a press briefing at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
The meeting followed President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of emergency rule in Rivers State, which led to the suspension of Governor Siminalayi Fubara and other elected officials.
During the press conference, Atiku hinted at a possible coalition of opposition parties to challenge Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.
