Rivers State Administrator Set to Visit Secretariat, Directs All Civil Servants to Be Present [Photo]

The Administrator of Rivers State, His Excellency, Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, CFR, is scheduled to visit the State Secretariat on Monday, March 24, 2025.
This was made known through an official circular issued by the Head of Service, Dr. George C. Nwaeke.
The notice, referenced GO/HOS/C/A.779/205, was addressed to top government officials including Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Special Advisers, Heads of Departments, and Liaison Offices. It emphasized that all civil servants must be present and on duty during the Administrator’s visit.
As part of preparations, ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) have been instructed to make available updated copies of their Nominal Rolls for inspection.
The circular also called for strict compliance with the directive to ensure a smooth and successful visitation.
Dr. Nwaeke noted that the special visit signifies the Administrator’s commitment to strengthening administrative performance, promoting discipline, and ensuring accountability within the state’s civil service.
The visit is expected to foster deeper interaction between the Administrator and public servants, while reinforcing the importance of dedication and professionalism in the delivery of government services.
All civil servants are urged to comply fully and treat the announcement with utmost importance.
