Romano reveals when Man Utd will complete Matheus Cunha transfer

Fabrizio Romano provided the latest updates on Matheus Cunha and his seemingly imminent transfer to Manchester United.
The Red Devils are expected to conduct a host of signings in what will be a busy summer, and the first order of business will be to lock down the Brazilian’s signature.
The 25-year-old has been in sensational form this season for Wolverhampton. He has produced 17 goals and six assists in 34 appearances in all competitions. Therefore, United have identified him as the ideal profile for the Number 10 role alongside Amad Diallo.
Over the past few weeks, the Brazilian has been considered ‘very close’ to sealing a move to Old Trafford, but the white smoke has yet to emerge, leaving the fans to wonder about the reasons behind the delay, and whether a new suitor could suddently emerge on the scene and sway him away from Carrington, especially if they fail to book their place in the Champions League next season.
Nevertheless, Romano reassured the Red Army that the deal is still very much on. The Italian journalist insists that Cunha is destined to join United sooner rather than later, and that the outcome of the Europa League final won’t have any impact on the agreement between the two clubs.
The transfer market insider insists that the parties are sorting out the last details in their accord which should see the light in the next few days.
“I will say to United fans, relax a bit on this one. Yes, there was a feeling two or three weeks ago that it’d happen in a few weeks time, but it always takes time to prepare contracts, speak to agents and Wolves about the terms.” said Romano during his latest appearance on his YouTube channel.
“They also need to find an agreement on payment terms. United are working on it, they have a very good relationship with Cunha. Now it’s time to sort the details of the agreement, Man United remain very confident despite interest from other teams.”
