Veteran music producer Samklef has vehemently denied claims made by social media activist Verydarkman (VDM), who alleged that Samklef participated in a secret WhatsApp group plotting to derail justice efforts for the late artist Mohbad .
VDM had shared excerpts from the purported group chat on social media, suggesting the involvement of Samklef, actress Iyabo Ojo, Jigan Baba Oja, and others in planning Mohbad’s arrest, leaking his nude footage, and misleading the public regarding DNA tests for Mohbad’s son, Liam .
In a fiery response on X (formerly Twitter), Samklef dismissed these allegations outright, branding Verydarkman as “a clout chaser” and “a tool working against justice.” He clarified that the WhatsApp group in question—also shared via an Instagram page—was actually formed to combat bullying by figures such as Naira Marley, not to silence advocates or obstruct justice.

Purpose of the group chat: Samklef insists the group was created for advocacy, referencing petitions Mohbad reportedly filed against Sam Larry and Naira Marley for threats and intimidation.
