The former Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor says Governor Chukwuma Soludo, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) led administration has consistently remained an epitome of democracy in its true sense of practice in Nigeria.
Rt. Hon. Okafor in his goodwill message stated that Soludo since his swearing-in on March 17, 2022, rested in delivering democratic dividends to the state in first-class honours standards.
“As we commemorate June 12, Democracy Day in Nigeria, 2025, I deem it appropriate to express my deepest satisfaction with the consistent high and ceaseless tempo of overall development that the solution governor has brought across all sectors and enablers of democracy, of which the good people of Anambra State are witnessing and testifying to.
“Democracy, being the government of the people, by the people and for the people, has been epitomised by the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, who hasn’t,
“These democratic dividends are evident in the infrastructural and educational sectors; health, security, social amenities, commerce, and industrialisation, as well as people-centric governance.
“I dedicate this year’s June 12 Democracy Day 2025, particularly to Soludo, whose gross competence, and acceptability have gained him unalloyed support by ndị Anambra in an unparalleled manner. A testament to the fact that his administration is poised to witness a seamless election for a second term in office, come November 8, this year.
“I hereby congratulate our working governor for embracing democracy in its true sense, which has seen the arms of government working in synergy for the overall interest of ndị Anambra. I am also wishing ndị Anambra and Nigerians a remarkable 2025 Democracy Day.
