“As far as I am concerned, it is journalists that will spread the good works of the Solution government. Mr. Governor is not the usual politician that will blow his trumpets; he’s fully focused and got his eyes on the ball.
“The Governor is on a mission, and he always says every mission has a deadline! For him, it’s work! Work!! Work!!!” Mrs. Soludo stated.
The Anambra First Lady emphasized the need for journalists to work closely with the government to access “genuine information” about its activities and achievements for accurate public dissemination.
The governor’s wife also assured support for journalists planning to tour projects executed by the Soludo administration, adding, “If God says my husband will rule Anambra for a second tenure, you will see a difference in the state. There will be Anambra before and after Soludo. By the special grace of God, Anambra will be where it is supposed to be.”
Mrs. Soludo maintained that dialogue would strengthen media-government relations and ensure accurate reporting on the state’s development strides.
Speaking on the upcoming Anambra governorship election, Mrs. Soludo
cautioned against opposition “lies and propaganda,” disclosing that even her children have faced derogatory remarks online.
Chairman NUJ Anambra Council, Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, in his remarks,
