Soludo’s Wife Urge Ndi Anambra To Participate Actively In Voter Registration

Anambra First Lady, Dr. Nonye Soludo has urged citizens in the state to participate actively in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that Soludo’s wife passionate appeal comes as preparations intensify across 326 political wards in the state, ahead of Anambra gubernatorial election, which will hold on November 8, 2025.

In a statement released on July 8, 2025, Dr. Mrs. Soludo emphasized the importance of the voter registration exercise, describing it as a critical step for all eligible voters to secure their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has just officially kicked off the much-awaited Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) for all voting categories in Anambra State,” she said.

“The exercise, which will run until July 17, will take place daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends.

Dr. Soludo further highlighted that the CVR is open to those who wish to obtain a new PVC, have changed their place of residence, misplaced or damaged their PVCs, or have yet to collect their cards from previous registration rounds.

The first lady encouraged all categories of voters to seize this “great window” to register, update, or retrieve their voting credentials.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. If you’re currently staying in Anambra State and fall within the voting age, ensure you are not left behind. This is your right and your responsibility.” she implored.

The First Lady noted that possessing a PVC is the only legitimate way citizens can express their political will and influence the leadership of the state.

“It is only with your PVC that you can translate that voice into real action. Don’t disenfranchise yourself. Find time to do what’s right. Get that PVC.

“May Anambra continue to rise.” Mrs. Soludo prayed.
