Solution FC Moves Closer To NPFL Dream, Calls For Support

Solution Football Club, established in 2023 by the Anambra State Government,
is making significant strides toward its dream of reaching the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

This follows a vital 1-0 win over Abakiliki FC in Matchday 16 of the Nigeria National League (NNL) at the Awka Stadium.

Angel Network News (ANN) reports that
Solution FC is quickly emerging as one of the most promising young clubs in the country. The recent victory in the high-stakes oriental derby further confirms the team’s growing strength and competitive edge.

The match’s decisive moment arrived in the 65th minute when Valentine Ugwu clinically finished a clever assist from Chidera Okafor. The goal, tucked precisely into the bottom right corner, sealed three crucial points for the team.

This result continues a trend of standout performances by the club’s players—many of whom have earned Man of the Match honors throughout the season reflecting the team’s tactical discipline, character, and hunger for success.

As the NNL playoffs draw closer, Solution FC’s management has issued a passionate appeal to ndi Anambra, the media, fans, and most importantly, the state government, to rally behind the team.

The club believes that with maximum support, promotion to the NPFL is well within reach.

“We must not allow this project to fail due to poor support. Anambra has long awaited a state-owned football team. Now that we have Solution FC, we must nurture it with full commitment,” a statement from the club read.

The club is especially appealing to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to continue backing the team’s long-term vision, emphasizing that football development aligns with the government’s goals for youth engagement and state pride.

ANN gathered that Solution FC faces a crucial encounter against Conference B leaders Kun Khalifat FC on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

The match could define the club’s path to promotion, making the need for stakeholder involvement more urgent.
