Although United lost their last Premier League match against Arsenal, they won the FA Cup match. In the hopes of gaining some much-needed points in their league campaign, manager Ruben Amorim will be hoping his players can repeat that performance. Andre Onana will likely continue in goal despite his patchwork play as of late.
One possible change to the backline is the inclusion of Harry Maguire, who might start again with Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro, the two players who appeared in the Europa League match. A few changes will be made to the midfield. With Patrick Dorgu out with a suspension, Diogo Dalot will likely start at left wing-back, and Noussair Mazraoui will start at right wing-back.
Bruno Fernandes is anticipated to start with Casemiro in centre midfield, and the player may start ahead of Christian Eriksen.
