Popular TikTok influencer Amadou “Jarvis” Aminata has provided clarity on why she and her partner, streamer Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat, have postponed their marriage plans—even though they have been engaged since December 2024.
Recall that Peller proposed to Jarvis in December 2024. In July, she confirmed their engagement during an interview on Channels Television, where she expressed confidence about marrying the 20-year-old, noting that she had come to better understand him over time.
In a recent TikTok live session, Jarvis addressed mounting speculation by citing Peller’s age—he is just 20—as a central factor. “I’m old enough to get married but his age is slowing me down… I don’t want to pressure him”—she explained, emphasizing that rushing would “mean I have evil plans for him.”
She also revealed that she intends to marry within about three years, but raised serious concerns about Peller’s financial stability, describing his income as inconsistent.
Peller responded by denying that his age is the issue. Instead, he expressed worries over Jarvis’s safety and how her parents might react: “Amaka daddy can wake up one day…and take Jarvis away from Lagos… She’s not safe,” he said.
The pair, who have drawn significant attention online, previously made headlines after a video showed Peller pushing Jarvis post-concert. They later clarified it was not abuse, but rather a protective gesture amid chaos.
