Tinubu to inaugurate Katsina agricultural Mechanization Centre, Friday

The Katsina State Government has officially announced that President Bola Tinubu will visit the state for a one-day work engagement on Friday.
This visit is significant because it marks the President’s first official trip to Katsina State since he assumed office in 2023.
During a press briefing at the Katsina Government House Press Centre on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Bala Salisu Zango, made the announcement.

Furthermore, Commissioner Zango outlined the President’s itinerary, highlighting the inauguration of two major projects under Governor Dikko Radda’s administration.
The projects set for inauguration include the Katsina State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre and the Eastern Bypass.
The Eastern Bypass is a crucial infrastructure project that extends from Dutsin-ma Road, passing through Kano and Daura Road, and finally ending at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
This project aims to improve transportation connectivity and stimulate local economic growth across the region.
Commissioner Zango emphasized that the President Tinubu upcoming visit presents a valuable chance for the state to engage with the federal government. Therefore, it will facilitate meaningful discussions on critical issues like insecurity and rural development, which are essential for the state’s growth.
Furthermore, in anticipation of the visit, Zango called on Katsina residents to mobilize and support the occasion by turning out in large numbers. This collective effort aims to demonstrate unity and strengthen the state’s position during the discussions.
Moreover, he emphasized that maintaining law and order is essential, and residents should remain peaceful and respectful during the event.
