Transfer News: Players that could make a Surprise Move in the Summer Window.

With just less than 10 weeks of play unto the end of top european leagues, more attention is shift to the upcoming 2025 summer transfer window which will start in June at the Premier league and Ligue 1, and July at the La liga, Serie A and Bundesliga according to the set dates by each leagues official bodies.

January 2025 winter tranfers had a host of big money deals, with Leipzig’s €80m deal for PSG’s Xavi Simons, Al Nassr’s €77.5m deal for Aston Villa’s John Duran, and PSG’s €75m for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia topping all deals.

This Summer Transfer Window however is expected to see far more money being spent, even as most top clubs like Man. City, Man. United, Chelsea, Juventus, and the likes have fallen from their usual form and struggles to earn a top four position in the ongoing season. Furthermore, Liverpool, Arsenal and Real madrid could also be busy in the market because of their inactiveness in the Winter Transfer.

Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon is requested for in Man. United by his former coach. Victor Osimhen who is on a loan spell at Galatasaray is unhappy with his club Napoli and so looking for a permanent deal to a premier league club side. Ademola Lookman became quite unhappy with his coach at Atalanta after Spalletti’s post-match critic. Vinicius Junior is also quite unhappy at Real Madrid, as he had found life in the club more frustrating especially since the addition of Kyian Mbampe to the squad. Liverpool’s Salah has always been wanted by Saudi clubs, and next season may be his final move.

However, it is noted that the dates of the transfer window could be moved around to either before the set dates or after due to the Club World Cup coming up June. Moreso, Ligue de Football Professionel-LFP had announced on their social media handle that their transfer window will open and close before the club world cup, and other clubs may follow suit.
