U.S. Releases 2025 Visa Waiver Program List

The United States has released the list of countries eligible for its 2025 Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
Notably, the United Kingdom is excluded from the program but remains eligible under specific conditions. The list also does not include any African countries, such as Nigeria, Ghana, or South Africa.
While most of the VWP list remains unchanged, Romania has been newly added. The U.S. has also emphasized enhanced security checks and prioritizing countries with strong diplomatic ties and border security standards.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Consular Affairs, the Visa Waiver Program allows citizens of participating countries to visit the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without requiring a visa.
