Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) South East Campaign, Mr. Dozie Ikedife Jnr. says the parties candidate, Prince Ukachukwu will tackle
insecurity if elected Governor of Anambra State.

Ikedife while addressing members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, led by Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, on Thursday July 3rd 2025, at the Godwin Ezeemo Press Center, Awka, assures ndi Anambra of strict safety of lives, property if Ukachukwu and his Deputy, Senator Uche Ekwunife, emerge in the November 8th governorship election.
Ikedife noted that one of the cardinal points of government is to protect the life and property of her citizens and frowned at the situation in Ihialla and other local government areas where series of blood shed have taken place, saying that many souls have been wasted assuring that he will fix things in order if elected.
He encouraged ndi Anambra to mourn those who lost their lives in the hands of hoodlums by supporting APC, promising human capital development, health care and all round provisions of basic amenities will be the main focus of Ukachukwu, while the state money will be accounted for.
Ikedife maintained that Ukachukwu is a well known man with integrity and expressed optimism that he will lay down infrastructural projects, security and basic amenities while health care of mothers and children will be paramount.
“Supporting Prince Ukachukwu and Senator Ekwunife is the best match so far, as they have been in service for long and know the needs and desires of Ndi Anambra calling for more hands to be on deck to ensure they took over the mantle of leadership in Anambra.
” Ukachukwu is very passionate about security because securing the lives and property of citizens should be the priority of any government. The present administration led by Governor Chukwuma Soludo is not doing well in this regard.
” We have lost many people in Anambra because of insecurity and some parts of the state is a no go area.
” Insecurity has caused alot of havoc in the State and it has affected all of us. Two lawmakers and the Governorship candidate of Labour Party in the last Anambra Governorship election are victims amongst other many. We cannot continue to loose our people like this.
” Recently, students were killed in Oko Polytechnic, and few days ago, Ebonyi State indigenes in Ogboji, Orumba South Local Government Area were also killed. We cannot continue to live our life like this.
” Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration has performed poorly in the Primary Health Sector and
Anambra can do better in education and agriculture. We need someone else to pilot the affairs of the state and Ukachukwu is the right man for the job.
” Ukachukwu has invested alot in Anambra State. He has a ministry and has attracted over 15 kilometers of road in Nnewi South and Osumenyi his community.
“Many business people has gotten grants and students giving scholarships. He is fully involved in the development of the society. If elected, Ukachukwu is going to do better’. Ikedife Assures.
