When I Heard That the Governor Came At 10am To Present Budget, I Was a Bit Confused- Enemi George

The lawmaker representing Asari-Toru Constituency 2 in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Enemi George, has stated that he was confused when he got to hear that the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara had visited the Assembly quarters to present the budget.
During an interview with TVC News, he explained that there was no prior communication from the governor to the House of Assembly regarding his intention to present the budget.
He emphasized that effective communication requires both sending a message and receiving confirmation from the intended recipient.
He further noted his surprise, recalling that he had heard on the radio that the governor was scheduled to commission a project in Ogoni at 10 a.m on Wednesday. He said the news of the governor’s presence at the Assembly at the same time left him perplexed, questioning how the governor could be in two places simultaneously.
He said, “There was no time the governor reached out to anyone that he wanted to visit. Communication is a two-way thing, when you write a letter, you ensure it gets to the intended recipient and then you get your feedback. There was no communication. Infact, I was even shocked, because I was listening to the news on radio yesterday, I heard the governor was going to Ogoni to commission a project at 10am. When I heard that the governor came at 10am to present the budget, I was a bit confused. Was he supposed to divide himself into two?”
