Why Man United boss Ruben Amorim is ‘angry’ at the touchline vs Chelsea

Manchester United face Chelsea in a crucial match in the Premier League tonight.

The Red Devils are in the bottom half of the Premier League table, slightly above the clubs who are going to get relegated this season.

United and Tottenham are fighting to avoid becoming the team to finish in the last position apart from only the clubs who are set to get relegated.

With Ruben Amorim picking up a strong side for the match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, it shows how much he values this match.

BBC Sport report Nizaar Kinsella has revealed why Amorim, as well as Blues boss Enzo Maresca are angry at the touchline during the match.

While covering the match for BBC, Kinsella reported:

“Both Ruben Amorim and Enzo Maresca are angry at their respective players from the touchline for seemingly failing to carry out tactical duties.

“It has been a pretty disjointed start from both teams with United just in poor form in the Premier League and Chelsea without their only striker Nicolas Jackson through suspension.”

Man United are desperate for a win

Blues have started well and came close to scoring through Noni Madueke.

United centre-back Harry Maguire scored but unfortunately his goal was ruled out due to a VAR check for offside.

Amorim is looking to get momentum before the Europa League final against Tottenham on 21st May.

A win at Stamford Bridge tonight could boost the team’s morale ahead of their biggest match of the season.

It won’t be easy since Chelsea are looking to qualify for the Champions League this season and they are desperate for a finish in the top five of the Premier League this season.
