There is no doubt men involved themselves a lot in hard labor and dangerous jobs. These are jobs that expose their bodies to different health hazards. Most fatalities or dangers that occur to humans during work often happen to men. In our society today, there’s always a news of brand new widow every day.

If it’s true that men rule the world, it comes at a heavy cost. Men are trained not to complain, to shrug off pain and injury, and never, never refuse to do the most dangerous and difficult tasks required to keep families and societies stable. It turns out that these elements contribute to men’s premature death.

There is no such thing as a stress-free life. No evidence has ever been presented, which suggests that a stress-free life can ever be achieved. Stress can be managed, relieved, and lessened but never eliminated. We can easily manage if we will only take each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday’s burden over again today, and then add the burden of tomorrow before we are required to bear it.

Stress can impact a man’s health in many ways, including increasing the risk of heart disease and respiratory disease. Stress, when unmanaged, causes low self-esteem, insecurity, demotivation, and even physical illness. So, your mindset matters. It affects everything from the family, relationship, business, and investment decisions you make to the way you raise your children to your stress levels and overall well- being.

In times of stress, the best thing we can do for each other is to listen with our ears and our hearts and to be assured that our questions are just as important as our answers because God gives us the grace to accept with serenity the things that can not be changed, the courage to change the things that should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.

Stress is an unavoidable part of life, agree. But if we respond positively to stressful situations, we can learn and grow in ways that wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they’ve started. The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.

Men reduce the stress levels in your life. The number one root of all illnesses, as we know, is stress. Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life around it. Give your stress wings and let it fly away. You’re passing every single day in large numbers. At some time, there would be scarcity of living and healthy men/fathers.

Getting stress out of your life takes more than prayer alone. You must take action to make changes and stop doing whatever is causing the stress. You can learn to calm down in the way you handle things.
